Child Safety Standards

Goalstie is a community for adults, built on shared goals. Protecting children from sexual abuse and exploitation is a condition of using it. This page explains who Goalstie is for, what is never allowed, how to report a concern, and what happens to an account that breaks these standards. It needs no account and works in any browser.

Adults only: 18 and older

Goalstie is intended for adults aged 18 and older. The app is not directed to children, and an account may only be created and used by someone who is 18 or older. Every member confirms their age when they join.

If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we close the account and remove the profile and content attached to it, and the person may not re-join until they are 18.

Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation

Goalstie has a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation. None of the following is allowed, by any member, in any part of the app:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), in any form, including images, video, drawings, and links to it elsewhere
  • Grooming a minor, or attempting to build a relationship with a minor for a sexual purpose
  • Sexual exploitation of a minor, including sexualized descriptions of a child
  • Soliciting sexual content, images, or contact from a minor
  • Sextortion, coercion, or trafficking involving a minor

This applies to profiles, photos, community posts and replies, private messages, first impressions, and anything else sent through the app. There is no context, joke, or artistic purpose that makes it acceptable.

How to report a concern

You can report from inside the app, or by email. Both reach our moderation team.

  1. 1In the app. Open a community post and choose Report, or open the menu in a conversation or on a single message and choose Report. Select Child safety or exploitation, then add any details that would help us. Reports are private: only our moderators can see them, and the other member is not told who reported them.
  2. 2By email. Write to support@goalstie.com with the member's name or profile link, what you saw, and when it happened.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first, then tell us.

What our moderation team does with a report

  • We review the reported content and the account it came from, together with any related reports.
  • Content that breaks these standards is removed.
  • The account responsible is suspended or permanently terminated.
  • Where the law requires it, we keep the moderation record and report the matter to the authorities.

Goalstie does not currently use automated detection to scan content for child sexual abuse material. Concerns reach us through member reports and our moderation review, and every report is reviewed by a moderator.

Compliance with child protection law

Goalstie complies with the applicable child protection laws of the places where it operates. Where the law requires it, we report child sexual abuse and exploitation to the appropriate authorities, which may include law enforcement, child protection agencies, or the national reporting body of the relevant country. We cooperate with lawful requests from those authorities and keep the records needed to respond to them.

Nothing in this page limits our ability to report a matter to the authorities.

Child safety contact

support@goalstie.com is Goalstie's designated contact for child safety. Members, parents and guardians, and authorities can use it to raise a concern, ask about a report that was filed, or request information about our child safety practices.
