Goalstie helps people find others who share their goals and interests. This policy explains what information the app collects, why it is collected, and the choices you have. It applies to your use of Goalstie.
Your account email and password, and the profile details you add: name, age, gender, bio, photos, goals, interest areas, typical availability, how you prefer to connect, your preferred distance, and the city you enter for your location.
To confirm that members are real people, we ask for a verification selfie during profile setup. That image is stored in private storage, is used only to check that you match your profile photos, and is never shown to other members.
The first impressions, messages, community posts and replies, likes, wave greetings, matches, and reports you create while using Goalstie.
We store an approximate, city-level location to help you find members near you. Exact coordinates are never shared with other members, who only see an approximate distance rounded to whole miles.
To create and secure your account, suggest compatible members, deliver your messages and community activity, verify members, keep the community safe, and send account and activity emails. We do not sell your personal information.
We rely on the Base44 platform for hosting, authentication, email delivery, and automated image checks. These providers handle data only to operate the app on our behalf.
Profile photos, gallery photos, verification selfies, and images attached to community posts are stored with our storage provider. Deleting your account removes the records and links to those files and places each file on an internal removal list. Our app cannot delete a stored file directly, so removal is requested from the storage provider and each file is tracked until the provider confirms it is gone. Until that confirmation, the file is recorded as outstanding on our cleanup list.
You can view and edit your profile at any time from your profile page, and delete your profile and account data from Account Settings. Deleting your profile removes it and its connections from the app. For any other request about your information, reach us through Feedback in the app.
Your information is stored in the app database, with access limited to you and, where moderation or safety requires it, app moderators. We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account, your account record and the records linked to it are deleted, in steps rather than in a single atomic operation, and the cleanup is verified afterwards. Conversations you had are closed and the messages you sent are deleted; messages another member sent stay in their own conversation, because we do not delete another member's history.
Goalstie is for adults only. You must be 18 or older to create an account and use the app.
